Wednesday evening’s game at Stamford Bridge sees Chelsea host West Ham United, with both sides desperate for points for very different reasons.

Jose Mourinho’s men go in to the game on the back of seven straight wins in all competitions, and another victory here could see them rise to the top of the table.

For that to happen, they would meet to win by two clear goals, and better the result of Manchester City, who are away at Tottenham Hotspur.

The Blues’ only absentees are Fernando Torres and Marco van Ginkel, while Mohamed Salah will have to wait for his debut as he is not currently in the country.

Demba Ba will be hoping for a chance to lead the line against the club he played for towards the end of the 2010/11 campaign.

The Senegal international, who has started just twice in the Premier League so far this season, is 5.5 (9/2) with Bet 365 to open the scoring with Eden Hazard a 6.5 (11/2) chance with Coral.

Chlesea are odds on for the victory with several firms offering a price of 1.2 (1/5), with West Ham available at a massive 19.0 (18/1) with Bet 365, who have the draw at 8.0 (7/1).

The visitors lost to Manchester City in the second leg of their League Cup semi-final last time out, and have won just four matches in the league all season – the joint worst amount of all the sides in the division.

They currently sit in eighteenth place, but will leapfrog Fulham should they avoid defeat, after the Cottagers lost to Swansea City yesterday evening.

Italian duo Antonio Nocerino and Marco Borriello could both make their debuts after joining on loan while captain Kevin Nolan returns after a four match ban but Joe Cole misses out against his old club with a groin injury.

Andy Carroll is 15.0 (14/1) with most firms to get the first goal of the game, ahead of Borriello, who can be easily found at 17.0 (16/1).

Chelsea ran out 3-0 winners when the sides met at Upton Park in November, and won last season’s corresponding fixture by two goals to nil so you may want to take advantage of Bet Victor’s offer of 1.98 (39/40) for them to win without conceding once more.
