Chelsea vs TottenhamPremier League leaders Chelsea will be looking to make amends for the Sunderland setback when they host local rivals Tottenham at Stamford Bridge.

Spurs go into the game high on confidence having defeated Everton at the weekend, and they are now searching for the fourth away win of the season.

Having enjoyed one of the best starts to a Premier League campaign in competition history, Chelsea are rightly considered hot favourites for the title, but they clearly cannot afford to relax just yet.

The Blues quickly created an eight-point advantage over holders Manchester City, although the gap has melted to six points as Jose Mourinho’s charges shared spoils with Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

The Black Cats were the first team this season to virtually prevent Chelsea from creating any clear-cut chances, but the Special One is unlikely to be too worried by the result.

Chelsea will have a good opportunity for a morale-boosting win when they host local rivals Tottenham, with home win paying 1.44 (4/9).

Veteran striker Didier Drogba is expected to deputize for the suspended Diego Costa in midweek, with the Ivorian 2.20 (6/5) to score anytime.

The good news is Jose Mourinho has no other selection worries, with youngster Nathan Ake the only player in the infirmary.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Courtois – Ivanovic, Terry, Cahill, Azpilicueta – Fabregas, Matic – Willian, Oscar, Hazard – Drogba.

Spurs needed quite a while to get their season back on track, but they seem to have succeeded in their quest in spite of numerous selection problems.

Mauricio Pochettino’s gamble with White Hart Lane graduates Ryan Mason and Harry Kane has paid off big time, with the fans finally able to enjoy two academy products earning their spurs in the Premier League.

Tottenham have done really well to win six of last seven matches in all competitions, with character and determination proving the key, with five of those victories recorded by the narrowest of margins.

Following the hard-fought triumph over Everton, Spurs will face the ultimate test to their top 4 credentials, and they can be backed at 3.15 (43/20) not to lose at Stamford Bridge.

Mauricio Pochettino has got a number of fitness worries ahead of the Chelsea game, with Vlad Chiriches the latest player to suffer an injury.

Kyle Walker is not yet ready to return, whilst Etienne Capoue, Andros Townsend, Danny Rose and Emmanuel Adebayor are all rated doubtful.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Lloris – Dier, Fazio, Vertonghen, Davies – Mason, Bentaleb – Lamela, Kane, Eriksen – Soldado.
