Saturday’s Premier League action concludes at Stamford Bridge where league leaders Chelsea face reigning Champions Manchester City.

The Blues go in to the game having booked there place in the League Cup final after beating Liverpool 1-0 after extra time in their semi-final second leg on Tuesday evening.

That result came days after their shock home defeat to Bradford City in the fourth round of the FA Cup while the extended their lead at the top of the Premier League to five points with a 5-0 victory over Swansea City two weeks ago.

Top scorer Diego Costa is unavailable after being found guilty of violent conduct against Liverpool, while Cesc Fabregas and Felipe Luis will also miss out after picking up injuries in that game.

Didier Drogba is expected to come in upfront, and can be backed at 7.0 (6/1) to get the first goal of the game with a variety of firms, with Loic Remy an 8.0 (7/1) chance with William Hill.

The home win is priced at 2.2 (6/5) with a number of firms, with the visitors as highly priced as the 3.7 (27/10) on offer from Sporting Bet. The draw is widely available at 3.5 (5/2).

City also suffered a shock home defeat to lower league opposition in the FA Cup last weekend, losing 2-0 to Championship high-flyers Middlesbrough while they have taken just five points from the last twelve available in the league.

Manuel Pellegrini has no major injury worries, but Yaya Toure and new signing Wilfried Bony are still away on international duty at the Africa Cup of Nations after Ivory Coast progressed to the quarter finals.

Sergio Aguero is 6.5 (13/2) to open the scoring with a host of bookmakers, with former Chelsea
man Frank Lampard a 12.5 (23/2) chance with 888 Sport.
