Sunday’s game at Stamford Bridge sees recently crowned champions Chelsea host a Liverpool side still in the hunt for a top four place.

The Blues clinched their first championship in five years with victory over Crystal Palace last time out, their twenty-fifth win of the campaign.

Another win here will see them move on to eighty-six points – the tally they accumulated when they finished first under Carlo Ancelotti in 2010.

Manager Jose Mourinho must make a decision over whether or not to risk Diego Costa, who hasn’t featured in over a month, though Oscar is definitely out and with the title already in the bag, Petr Cech, Filipe Luis and Kurt Zouma may be given rare starts.

Eden Hazard is priced at 6.5 (9/2) to get the first goal of the game with a number of firms, with Didier Drogba widely available at 7.0 (6/1).

The home win is 2.1 (11/10) with most bookmakers, with the visitors as highly priced as the 3.9 (29/10) on offer from Ladbrokes. The draw is 3.5 (5/2) with Bet 365.

Brendan Rodgers’ side returned to winning ways last weekend with victory over relegation threatened Queens Park Rangers.

They go into the weekend four points behind fierce rivals Manchester United, who currently occupy fourth spot, while they will ensure a top six finish if they win and Southampton lose at in form Leicester City.

Daniel Sturridge is out and will be until at least September, though Mario Balotelli is back in training after a foot injury and Lucas Leiva may feature after recovering from a knock.

Raheem Sterling is 10.0 (9/1) to open the scoring with Paddy Power, while Rickie Lambert can be backed at the same price with the same firm.

The Blues took the points when the sides met at Anfield back in November, while they also emerged victorious from their League Cup semi-final clash, but needed an extra-time winner from Branislav Ivanovic to progress to the final, where they beat Tottenham Hotspur.

Both teams have scored in five of the last six meetings between the sides, and you can back that outcome this time around at 1.91 (10/11) with William Hill.
