Premier League

Saturday’s Premier League action concludes at Stamford Bridge where Chelsea take on Arsenal.

The hosts began the campaign with a fine 3-0 win over Huddersfield Town last weekend, and only Liverpool are ahead of them in the table.

Gary Cahill and Andreas Christensen are both in contention for returns to the starting line-up while manager Maurizio Sarri also has big decisions to make in midfield.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek impressed off the bench last time out while Mateo Kovacic is another option, with the Croatia international awaiting his debut since arriving from Real Madrid though Cesc Fabregas is out.

Alvaro Morata is favourite to open the scoring at 5.2 (21/5) with Unibet with Olivier Giroud a 6.5 (11/2) chance with a variety of firms.

The home win is priced at 1.82 (9/11) with Unibet with the visitors as highly priced as the 4.5 (7/2) on offer from several bookmakers. The draw can be backed at a price of 4.0 (3/1) with Betfair.

The visitors were beaten 2-0 by champions Manchester City on Sunday afternoon, the first half of a tough double header at the very top of Unai Emery’s reign in charge.

Ashley Maitland-Niles picked up a leg injury against the Citizens, adding to the Gunners defensive crisis with Sead Kolasinac, Laurent Koscielny and Nacho Monreal also sidelined though there is a chance for the latter to be fast-tracked back.

Danny Welbeck is in contention after his late arrival to preseason following his involvement at the World Cup finals while Bernd Leno is in line for his debut in goal ahead of Petr Cech.

Unibet have Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at 6.5 (11/2) to get the first goal of the game with Henrikh Mkhitaryan a 14.0 (13/1) shot with the same firm.

Both of last season’s league meetings with the sides ended all square with January’s 2-2 draw at the Emirates following September’s goalless draw in the corresponding fixture.

You can back both teams to score at a widely available price of 1.67 (4/6) while Unibet offer 1.58 (7/12) for there to be a goal in both halves of the game.
