BatshuayiPremier League side Chelsea appear to have won the race to sign Marseille and Belgium highly-rated forward Michy Batshuayi.

According to reports from the Guardian, the 22-year-old striker has already agreed to sign for the Blues and is set to undergo medical at Chelsea as transfer fee has been determined as well.

Chelsea will reportedly pay £33.2 million for the talented striker, who was on the radar of several clubs this summer transfer window.

The player himself has rejected a transfer to Crystal Palace, West Ham and Juventus in favour of a move to Stamford Bridge which should be announced in the next couple of days.

Batshuayi is believed to have been granted special dispensation to leave Belgium squad in order to wrap up a deal with the Premier League club and put pen to paper on a five-year contract.

Michy Batshuayi will thus become Antonio Conte’s first signing at Chelsea and his arrival will undoubtedly ease the pressure upfront and add quality competition for places in the front line.

Belgium striker scored 17 goals in French Ligue 1 for Marseille last season and he looks set to become club’s most expensive transfer in history.

Batshuayi also scored for his national team in the 4-0 victory over Hungary on Sunday and Marc Wilmots’ will expect the young striker to be fully focused for Friday’s Euro 2016 quarter-final against Wales once he has finished signing for Blues.

Red Devils are looking at the betting odds of 1.73 (8/11) @Bet365 to beat Wales and secure their place in the semi-final of the 2016 European Championship finals.
