Monday evening’s Premier League action comes from Turf Moor where Burnley face Newcastle United.

The hosts saw their six-game unbeaten run ended by leaders Manchester City last weekend though they remain in the top half of the table following the weekends results and a return to winning ways here would see them move level on points with sixth placed Liverpool.

Record signing Chris Wood is struggling with a hamstring problem though fellow forward Sam Vokes is set to return from an abdominal strain.

Nakhi Wells still awaits his Clarets debut after being sidelined with a foot injury while fellow summer arrival Jonathan Walters is out with a knee problem, as is midfielder Dean Marney.

Vokes is 7.0 (6/1) to open the scorer with Bet 365, ahead of Ashley Barnes who is an 8.5 (15/2) chance with the same firm.

The home win is widely available at 3.25 (9/4) with the visitors 2.55 (17/11) with Unibet. The draw can be backed at 3.2 (11/5) with a variety of firms.

Rafael Benitez’s side have lost just one of their last seven matches – a run which sees them comfortably sitting in the eighth place while victory here would see them rise to sixth place and put them just two points behind fourth place Chelsea.

Dwight Gayle in in contention from a place in the matchday squad after recovering from the calf injury he picked up in the 2-2 draw with Southampton earlier this month meaning that Paul Dummett is the only absentee.

Joselu is 6.0 (5/1) to get the first goal of the game with most firms while Christian Atsu is an 11.0 (10/1) shot with Bet 365.

Both of last season’s meetings between the sides ended all square with the corresponding fixture ended 1-1 last December while Sean Dyche’s men came from behind three times to take a point from their visit to St James’s Park back in January.

You can back both teams to score this time around at 2.07 (15/14) with Unibet while a third straight score draw is available at a price of 4.5 (7/2).
