Friday evening’s Premier League action comes from the Vitality Stadium where Bournemouth take on fellow south coast outfit Brighton and Hove Albion.

Eddie Howe’s side are one of two remaining in the division yet to register a point this season, and they are only ahead of Crystal Palace by virtue of goal difference.

Junior Stanislas will again miss out with the midfielder not quite ready to return from a groin problem as will forward Callum Wilson while Ryan Fraser will be assessed ahead of kick-off after picking up an ankle injury in last week’s defeat to Arsenal.

Jermain Defoe is yet to score since returning to the Cherries but if favourite to net first at 5.5 (9/2) with a number of firms with Josh King a 7.5 (13/2) chance with Sky Bet.

Bet Victor have the home win at 2.2 (6/5) with the away victory as highly priced as the 3.85 (37/13) on offer from Unibet. The draw is widely available at 3.4 (12/5).

The Seagulls secured their first win since returning to the top flight last time out, beating West Bromwich Albion by three goals to one and another win here would see them move level on points with fifth place Tottenham Hotspur.

Captain Bruno should feature despite being subbed off with a back problem last weekend while Izzy Brown could play after recovering from a hamstring injury.

Pascal Gross, who bagged a brace against the Baggies is 15.0 (14/1) with Sky Bet to get the first goal of the game with Anthony Knockaert a 10.0 (9/1) shot with Bet 365.

This is the first time the sides will have met each other in the top flight, with their last clash coming in the Championship at the Amex Stadium in April 2015.

That tie was won by Bournemouth, as was the reverse fixture as they clinched the title while Brighton’s last win over their rivals came in League One on New Years’ Day 2008.

You can back both teams to score, which has been the case in five of the last seven meetings at 1.91 (10/11) with a variety of firms.
