Sunday’s Premier League action begins at the Emirates Stadium where Arsenal face Stoke City.

The Gunners beat Hull City last weekend in their FA Cup third round tie, while last time out in the league they were beaten 2-0 by fellow top four hopefuls Southampton.

That defeat saw Arsene Wenger’s side slip to sixth place, three points behind the Saints in fourth place while North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur are a point ahead of them in fifth.

Mesut Ozil is set to return for the hosts after missing the last three months while fellow midfielders Aaron Ramsey and Mathieu Flamini have also returned to fitness and Olivier Giroud is back from suspension.

Danny Welbeck, Abou Diaby, Mikel Arteta and Jack Wilshere are all out while Wojciech Szczesny and David Ospina are both vying to start in goal.

Top scorer Alexis Sanchez is favourite to get the first goal of the game at 4.6 (14/5) with Bet Victor, with Santi Cazorla an 11.0 (10/1) chance with the same firm.

The home win is 1.5 (1/2) with Ladbrokes, with the visitors a 8.0 (7/1) chance with Bet 365, who price the draw at 4.75 (15/4).

Mark Hughes’ men also booked their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup last weekend after beating Wrexham by three goals to one.

The win extended their unbeaten run to four games, and the seven points that they collected from their last nine available in the league have seen the Potters move to within a point of the top half of the table.

Fit again trio Victor Moses, Marc Muniesa and Bojan Krkic are likely to be in the match-day squad along with new signing Philipp Wollscheid though Marc Wilson is doubtful with a knee injury and Mame Biram Diouf is away at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Peter Crouch, who scored in the first minute of Stoke’s 3-2 win over Arsenal at the Britannia Stadium last month, is 12.0 (11/1) to open the scoring with Bet 365, ahead of Jonathan Walters who is a 16.0 (15/1) chance with 888 Sport.

The Gunners have won the last eleven meetings between the sides that have taken place in North London, and you can back a home win with both teams scoring in the game at 3.45 (27/11) with 888 Sport.
