Arsenal vs QPRAfter missing out on what would have been a very fortunate win at Anfield, Arsenal will attempt to return to winning ways as they host QPR on Boxing Day.

Rangers produced a brilliant comeback against WBA to escape the bottom three and they now hope to get something from the Emirates as well.

This has been quite a tumultuous season for the Gunners, who have yet to prove they have what it takes to achieve another top 4 finish.

Numerous injuries to the playing squad certainly played a part, but Arsenal are again showing the lack of character and winning mentality, which is a major cause for concern.

Even if the Gunners were very close to winning at Anfield, they had largely struggled to match motivated Liverpool side and will not exactly have a lot to build on when they host QPR.

But, with Arsenal winning three of last four home games in the league and Rangers disappointing on the road, bear in mind home win pays 1.30 (3/10).

Arsene Wenger should have Tomas Rosicky, Yaya Sanogo and David Ospina back in contention, while Theo Walcott could also play a part.

However, Laurent Koscielny and Aaron Ramsey are unlikely to feature, while Hector Bellerin faces a fitness test.

Probable starting line-up (4-3-3): Szczesny – Debuchy, Chambers, Mertesacker, Gibbs – Chaberlain, Flamini, Cazorla – Sanchez, Giroud, Welbeck.

Queens Park Rangers have been quite predictable this season, largely impressing at their Loftus Road and failing to pick up a single point from the travels.

And while Harry Redknapp cannot be happy with team’s shocking away form, he can take comfort in the fact that Rangers sit two points above the bottom three regardless.

It is fair to say that QPR have done much better in home fixtures than expected, taking 17 points from 9 games, with one player impressing in particular.

Charlie Austin has been absolutely brilliant of late and having bagged a hat-trick against West Brom, he is 4.00 (3/1) to score at the Emirates.

QPR showed a great deal of character to come from two goals behind and defeat the Baggies and they arrive in North London in great spirits.

Korean full-back Yun Suk-Young misses out with an ankle problem, while Sandro and Alejandro Faurlin are long-term worries.

Probable starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Green – Isla, Dunne, Caulker, Hill – Barton, Henry – Vargas, Fer, Hoilett – Austin.
