Wednesday evening’s game at the Emirates Stadium sees league leaders Arsenal host Hull City.

The hosts go in to the match on the back of a fine 3-0 victory at Cardiff City on Saturday afternoon, a result which kept them four points clear at the top of the table.

They will be without Bacary Sagna, who misses out with a hamstring injury as is likely to be replaced by Carl Jenkinson while the game has come too soon for Lukas Podolski, who is expected back in training this week following a hamstring injury.

Yaya Sanogo, Abou Diaby, Ryo Miyaichi and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all remained side-lined.

Olivier Giroud is favourite to get the first goal of the game at a price of 4.75 (15/4) with Bet 365, while Aaron Ramsey, who took his season tally to thirteen with a brace against his former club at the weekend is a 6.5 (11/2) shot with Ladbrokes.

The Gunners are odds on favourites to take all three points, at a best price of 1.22 (2/9) with a number of bookmakers, with Hull as highly priced as the 17.0 (16/1) on offer from Bet Victor. The draw is a 7.25 (25/4) shot with Sporting Bet.

The visitors climbed into the top half of the table after their shock 3-1 win over Liverpool on Sunday afternoon, and could remarkably keep pace with the chasing pack with another victory here.

James Chester is in line for a recall to replace the suspended Curtis Davies, while Matty Fryatt is available after returning from a loan spell with Championship strugglers Sheffield Wednesday.

Yannick Sagbo is 19.0 (18/1) with Bet 365 to open the scoring ahead of Danny Graham who is a 21.0 (20/1) shot with the same firm.

Arsene Wenger’s side’s last five victories in all competitions have come without them conceding a goal, and they are priced at 1.8 (4/5) to win to nil this time around.

Alternatively, a repeat of the 3-0 scoreline recorded by the Gunners the last time these sides faced each other in North London is widely available at a price of 7.5 (13/2).
