Premier League giants Arsenal have had offered turned down for Ligue 1 stars Alexandre Lacazette and Thomas Lemar, according to BBC Sport.

The Gunners decided to make a move on Lyon striker when his move to Atletico Madrid fell through, but their initial proposal was rejected.

Nevertheless, with les Gones prepared to sell their prized asset, the talks have continued and could result in an agreement soon.

At the same time, Monaco rejected Arsenal bid for playmaker Thomas Lemar, who is coming off a thoroughly impressive season.

With several star players set to leave, the Principality club look determined to hold on to the France international, although a big money bid could change their minds.

Meanwhile, Arsenal haven’t received any proposals for star player Alexis Sanchez, who is heavily linked with a summer exit.

The forward, who yesterday helped Chile reach the 2017 Confederations Cup final, is priced at 13/8 to join Man City this summer.
