eddie-howeBournemouth manager Eddie Howe is being mentioned as a possible England manager, with more than a few pundits putting his name in the forefront.

Sam Allardyce’s 67-day tenure came to an abrupt end earlier in the week following scandalous revelation of England manager telling undercover journalists how to ‘get around’ third party transfer regulation and talking against the FA and his fellow football manager and predecessor Roy Hodgson.

The 38-year-old Howe has been one of the few people linked to the national team as possible replacement for Allardyce and Gareth Southgate, who has been made an interim manager.

Bournemouth boss has described managing England as the ‘ultimate job’, but is unfazed over media speculations linking him with the position.

Eddie Howe is one of the bookie’s favourites with the betting odds of 13.00 (12/1) @Bet365 to take over the reins, but the young tactician insists that he is fully focused on his club duties.

“I am absolutely committed here”, Howe said at the press conference ahead of the trip to Watford on Sunday.

“Nothing has changed from the summer. I’ve said in many interviews that the England job is the ultimate job, but I’ve signed players here and pledged a future to them.

“I’m not interested in the job now”, he added.

Eddie Howe has been widely applauded for his great work with Bournemouth and his overall footballing philosophy and there are strong beliefs that he would be a perfect long-term solution to lead England to glory.

Bournemouth boss is also commended for his great work with young players and influence as he went from saving the club from relegation out of the Football League in his first season in charge all the way to leading them to further promotions to the top tier on English football.
