Despite contrasting reports which emerged over the last couple of days, Everton winger Gerard Deulofeu has apparently agreed to join Italian giants AC Milan during the January transfer window.

The 22-year-old Spanish international has not been involved much as he would like thus far in the Premier League, having only made four starts and 11 appearances in total for the Goodison-based outfit and a move away from the club looks certain.

Everton manager Ronald Koeman had previously ruled out any sale due to an increasing number of injured players, but Tuttosport claims that former Southampton boss changed his mind and is ready to let Deulofeu go.

Toffees fans have grown disillusioned with the winger this season as he lacked consistency but also playing time to repair his erratic form under Koeman.

Former Barcelona graduate still remains a luxury player, who displayed glimpses of brilliance in Everton’s FA Cup defeat against Leicester City last week.

The Spaniard was one of the most prominent performers in the losing side with brilliant touches and fantastic crosses that spurred Everton’s game.

Deulofeu is keen to make a move to a bigger and brighter stage and help rejuvenated Milan continue their growth in the Serie A and has already gave his word to Rossoneri that he will join the Italian highfliers this winter.

The two clubs are believed to be working on a deal that could go through in the following days.

AC Milan in the meantime are preparing for their Coppa Italia tie with Torino at San Siro. Rossoneri can be backed at 2.15 (23/20) @BetVictor to emerge victorious.
