Bayern Munich are growing increasingly confident of signing Chelsea forward Callum Hudson-Odoi next season, according to reports.
According to suggestions in the Daily Mail, senior figures at the Allianz Arena are aiming to go back in for the winger in the summer despite being knocked back in the January window.
The Bavarians reportedly lodged numerous bids for the 18-year-old in the winter transfer window, with the most recent meeting Chelsea’s asking price of £35m. Despite that, Hudson-Odoi remained at Stamford Bridge, with his contract with the London outfit set to run until the summer of 2020.
He has so far made 12 appearances in all competitions under Maurizio Sarri this season, scoring two goals and providing three assists. Although, he is yet to start a single Premier League game this season and has failed to make the bench in three out of the last six games which has been highlighted as the reason as to why Bayern are growing increasingly confident of securing his signature.
Chelsea are back in action on Monday evening as they take on Manchester United in the fifth round of the FA Cup at Stamford Bridge. Hudson-Odoi can be backed at odds of 7/1 with Paddy Power to hit the opening goal of the match.
