Out of favour Real Madrid star James Rodriguez is being heavily linked with a move away from Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the season.

The Colombia international is under contract with Los Blancos until 2020, but his futures with Los Merengues is in doubt given Rodrugiez’s limited playing time under head coach Zinedine Zidane.

The French tactician has been using Rodriguez sporadically as his influence has been restricted to only 12 starts for Los Blancos in all competitions. Rodriguez still managed to score 5 goals and make as many assists for his side, but that wasn’t enough to make Zidane reward his player with a more significant role this season.

A host of Europe’s biggest clubs including Premier League rivals Manchester United and Liverpool have expressed interest in signing the 25-year-old Colombian, but English clubs face tough competition for James’ signature as Serie A champions Juventus and Real Madrid’s fierce rivals Barcelona have also joined the race.

The Spanish media outlet OK Diario is reporting that Bianconeri have already tabled an offer for the Colombian playmaker, whereas Barcelona are also testing the waters to see whether Real Madrid would be willing to do business this summer.

Los Blancos are believed to be holding out for a €80 million for the Colombian, whereas Juventus’ initial offer was somewhere in the region of €50 million.

James Rodriguez will be hopeful Zidane could give him a chance at Leganes tonight as Real Madrid travel to Butarque looking to tighten their grip on La Liga top spot.

Los Blancos are priced at 1.55 (11/20) to claim the maximum points on their Wednesday trip to Leganes.
