Reports have suggested that FC Barcelona could swoop for Paris Saint Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot in a cut-price deal.

Diario AS have suggested that the Frenchman could move to the Camp Nou in a deal worth approximately €5m. He is out of contract with the French outfit next summer, leaving him free to sign a new contract with a foreign club.

There were prior reports suggesting that Rabiot could move to Barcelona and that seems to be coming to fruition with the latest links to Ernesto Valverde’s troops.

Despite falling out of favour at the Parc des Princes, the 23-year-old has still gone on to make 20 appearances in all competitions under Thomas Tuchel this season. In that time, he has scored two goals and provided two assists.

In all, the youngster has enjoyed an extremely successful time with PSG after coming through their academy. In 227 appearances, he has lifted five league titles. Rabiot has also made six appearances for the French national team.

Should he remain in France until the end of the season, he is likely to claim another French crown according to the bookies. PSG are at 1/200 to win Ligue 1 at the end of the campaign with William Hill, whilst nearest challengers Lyon sit at 50/1.
